The Ijinus LOG09V4 is a standalone communicating data logger designed for advanced monitoring applications across water and wastewater networks. The unit integrates a long‑life battery and supports multiple communication options, making it suitable for long‑term deployment in challenging field environments. The system features a Modbus input/output enabling compatibility with more advanced sensors and equipment than the other offerings in the LOG range.
The LOG09V4 provides local radio communication as standard and can be fitted with an interchangeable communication card to enable 2G, LTE‑M, NB‑IoT, or LoRaWAN connectivity. This flexible architecture allows the communication method to be changed without replacing the logger hardware, supporting future network upgrades and mixed communication strategies.
Configuration is performed quickly and safely using a wireless radio connection, allowing engineers to programme the logger nearby without physical connection. With a large internal memory, the LOG09V4 can store up to 500,000 measurements, ensuring reliable data logging even in locations with limited communication availability.
The logger supports analogue, Modbus, and power interfaces, enabling connection to pressure sensors, level sensors, flow measurement devices, water quality sensors, and other 4–20 mA instruments commonly used in water utility monitoring. Its robust construction and IP68 ingress protection make it suitable for underground installations such as chambers, lift stations, and combined sewer overflow monitoring points.
