DuctRods

The DuctRods supplied by Synthotech are tough, compact and semi-flexible rod systems manufactured from composite fibreglass with a durable polypropylene sheath. Engineered for both pushing and pulling operations, they are widely used within potable water, wastewater and utility infrastructure projects.

These duct rods are suitable for:
- Cable installation in water and utility ducts
- Installing draw ropes
- Duct proving and clearance verification
- Pinpoint location when connected to a sonde
- Long-distance cabling through underground pipe systems

Each system features brass end fittings with smooth-profile bullet tips to minimise friction and improve navigation through bends and joints. An integrated brake mechanism ensures safe, controlled deployment and retrieval during operation. Mounted on robust zinc-plated steel frames, the units are built for durability on site while remaining lightweight for easy transport between locations.

Available Diameters:

- 4.5mm (3mm core)
- 6mm (4mm core)
- 9mm (7mm core)
